Forget everything you know about geekiness of bow ties because the fashion favorite of the boys stuffed in lockers is making a comeback thanks to the likes of Dolce and Gabbana and Polo Ralph Lauren. If you're like me, you might be a bit skeptical, (after all, the only ppl I know who wear bow ties are Orville Redenbacher and my 76 year old grandfather and I dont usually take style tip from either one of them) But be brave! I have a pretty good feeling about this! Before, the only time you could mention "bow tie" was if it was in your pasta, but now I'm just waiting for an awesome opportunity to breakout a bow tie!
Tonight was an awesome night for TV on NBC! There was a funny(ish) premiere episode of Parks & Recreation sandwiched between two episodes of The Office, which was followed by 30 Rock and the premiere episode of Southland! Parks & Recreation was pretty funny.. like.. not the funniest, but i'll give it another chance! (Actually I didnt see the entire episode because my mom didnt DVR all of it.. DARN!) It was basically the office, but Amy Poehler pretending to be Steve Carell. The real office and 30 Rock awesome as usual, but what I thought was the best was the premiere epi of Southland, starring Benjamin McKenzie (AKA Ryan from the OC). It was kind of like a mixture of Cops and.. I guess the OC?? It wasnt like any other cop show! It was dramatic and shot beautifully, and put together really interestingly.
So LLohan, aka fire crotch, who recently broke up w/ Sammy Ronson just spilled about her relationship with the 31 year old DJ and songwriter. Lohan called it "an ugly, disgusting, childish…situation" Really Lohan? Sounds like she was just tired of being a lesbian. Watch it here, courtesy of Myspace TV.
