Its On With Alexa Chung

Yesterday (AKA my BIRTHDAY) I went to NYC to be part of the audience of MTV's "Its On With Alexa Chung". If you havent heard of it, it's basically a more intimate version of TRL, hosted by a black nail polish-wearing, wise cracking, british babe. This episode featured "Secret Life Of An American Teenager" star, Shailene Woodley taking part in the "Preggo Olympics", and rapper, Asher Roth reading feet before giving a live perfomance. The show was entertaining, sarcastically funny, and reminiscent of old MTV-- which is a good thing!

"Leeeave Perez Alone!!!"

Many of you have already heard about the huge rumble that went down between Perez Hilton and Black Eyed Peas' singer, Will-I-Am! If you didnt, it involved Perez dissing Fergie, Will-I-Am talking smack, and Perez getting "boom-boom-pow'd" by Will-I-Am's body guard, right outside the Toronto night club.

While in the middle of this grizzly attack, Perez got out his cell phone and did what any other person would do in that situation: he signed onto Twitter.

After it was all over, Perez, who was extremely hot and bothered, broadcasted a "Chris Crocker"-like video to all his fans to get HIS side of the story out. Thank God. It went a little something like this:



After watching this video, I couldn't help but ALMOST feel bad for Perez. How dare Will-I-Am and his culturally-diverse posse almost make Perez lose his dignity in front of all the world!

Personally, I'm surprised Perez hasn't been sucker-punched before this! I know that if I went around talking trash about everyone I knew, I wouldve gotten both my knee caps and my jaw broken by now.

I also think he should be grateful he didn't get into it with someone like Chris Brown. Then, he'd really have something to cry about.

After all the sadness and tears, I know that there's one woman out there, watching with glimmering eyes and a wide, porcelain smile. And her name is Miss California.

T-Swift & T-Pain

Last week, hell froze over, pigs sprouted wings, and i watched the CMT country music awards. Even more surprising than that, there were a few points in time where I was actually entertained.

One of those twinkling moments happened when country/pop sensation, Taylor Swift (AKA the obsession of men everywhere) took the stage with, no, not Billy Ray Cyrus, but T-Pain! The result was an ironic, catchy, thugged-out duet that's likely to be as popular as T-Pain's other chart topping single, "I'm on a Boat"!

The Big Pink: Velvet

UK electro-rock duo, The Big Pink, released the video for their song "Velvet" in April, and I've gotta say, I'm still pretty into it!  I'm also into the fact that their next single, "Stop The World", is being released on my birthday, June 29th!  Way to go Big Pink!

Fantasy Becomes Reality For Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton plays Matt Long's psycho ex-girl friend in her new movie, "Homecoming", due out this July; and somehow, I feel this role wasn't much of a stretch for her...

In the movie, a young (hot) girl (played by 90210 star, Jessica Stroup) goes home with her bf to attend his (duh) homecoming, and ends up running into his cuckoo ex-friend who, as it turns out, still has the hots for him! I know! Its not long before Nutzo Barton goes gaga and transforms into a vengeful warrior similar to the likes of Kathy Bates in the movie Misery.



and Homecoming comes out July 17th!

Adam Lambert On The Cover Of Rollingstone

Here's a hot shot of Adam Lambert on this month's cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

In the article, Lambert officially comes out of the closet and admits that he's gay... HOLD ON, WHAT?!!!!

During the reptilian inspired photo-shoot, Lambert, who has an album coming out soon, said he was shocked to be on the magazine.

"When I was told, I said 'you're joking , right?!' And the second thing I said was "Who's going to be on the cover with me?!'"

I have to admit I'm interested to see how Lambert's CD will turn out! The cover shot and article are both great; so go pick up Rolling Stone this month!
