Ryan Higa Does X-Men Origin, Twilight

Ryan Higa and some of my other favorite asians have just come together to give all of us a little preeeeview of the latest movie in the X-Men franchise, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Although they didn't have it in their budget to hire folks live Hugh Jackman to be in their little schindig, I'd say it's high quality! It just goes to show you, you don't need an illegal internet leak to enjoy a movie before it comes out!



And for those of you still foaming at the mouth at the sight of Robert Pattinson (AKA Edward Cullens), don't worry, they've got a Twilight summary too!

Does anybody watch the TV show "Skins"?!

There are so many reasons to love Skins: from the addicting underground music to the hip, trendy fashion; the erratic, destructive and positively charismatic characters to the raging, irrational story lines that always throw you for a loop!   Well, this past January, when season 3 was about to begin, Skins came out with an extended trailer for the show that they set to the awesome tunes of (who else) TV On The Radio which shows the kids from the show getting into all kinds of debaucherous trouble at a local pub.  Its basically a look at what the entire season will be without giving anything away!

My First Dictionary

OK I figured I'd post this because I showed a bunch of my friends and they all thought it was interesting!

It's "My First Dictionary". It's like a mixture of "Dick and Jane" and Edward Gorey's "Gashlycrumb Tinnies". It's weird/funny/creepy/ironic and you should def check it out!!!

Coeur de pirate

This isnt actually new, just really cool.

Coeur de Pirate is a really awesome band led by Béatrice Martin, who sings and plays piano. They're from Montreal, Quebec, so they sing in french, which is awesome on it's own, but they're also really talented musicians. That's just about everything I could get from their myspace.. considering it was also in french and my français just a little shabby!

The video for their single "Comme Des Enfants" (which translates to "like kids"!!!) shows two beautiful hipsters who frolic around on bikes doing wonderful, fun things! Def. watch it! You can enjoy it weather or not you speak french!

Michael Jackson Is Still Crazy (And Now Poor)

Recently Michael Jackson (AKA The Prince of Pop) realized just how hard the recession was boning him & decided to sell some of his creepy art that he had stored in Never Never Land in an auction so that he wouldn't end up like M.C Hammer in the 1990's.

Of course at the last minute he realized that selling his stuff meant not having it anymore, so he called off the auction.

Priceless gems like this MJ tri-panel excalibur portrait could've been released to the general public, but now we've been left to relie on reruns of The Jackson 5 movie for good MJ entertainment.

Get Those Suits Ready!

With the warm weather coming along, everyone is getting giddy for bathing suit season! The girl doing this and getting the most attention is everyone's (2nd*) favorite Laguna Beach resident, Kristen Cavellari. Last month, Kristen (and a plethora of other girls in blue bathing suits) starred in a photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Cosmo magazine, showing off the bathing suits of this season.

The mob of girls stood together and used their bodies to spell out "Cosmo" and then were used as extras in a music video for some upcoming pop star who looked like Shaggy... Jess Ewud, a friend of mine who was asked to join the shoot while she was walking along the beach in Miami, Florida, snapped a couple of pictures so that we could all take a look.

Keep an eye out for the issue of Cosmo, coming out early this summer!

Fatal Attraction II

Is anyone else so excited for the movie Obsessed to come out?!

I mean, it does look a little hokie and a bit silly... (AKA the catfight between Beyonce and Ali Larter) but I think it'll be interesting anyway.

So far, the only ppl who agree with me are the sketchy dope fiend girls who lurk across the street from my school... and that might be saying something, but im hooked anyway!


Has anyone else realized that Obsessed is an exact replica of the 1987 blockbuster, Fatal Attraction? Both have a suave man (whore) with a (fiiiiine) wife and young child at home, who falls for the hot (crazy/slutty) blonde who goes after everything he has.

One scene Im waiting for is the very catfight scene where Beyonce pulls back her scraggly orange weave and transforms into GI Jane before she goes Bruce Leroy on that Hussy. They start slamming each other around the room Chris Brown style like it's a scene out of Kill Bill!
