Back in 1949, artist Gjon Mili visited Pablo Picasso and introduced him to the world of light photography!
This is where you use something like a flashlight or a glow stick to create shapes in the dark.
Piccasso was instantly inspired and set off creating masterpieces of his own.
While the luminary pieces of art were lost to the public for decades, today,
LIFE magazine is releasing the photos for everyone to see.
